The voluminous view
An effervescent memory
The many sparkles on the wandering water
Remind me of the latent love I have for you
The chameleon stars we have travelled
Across infinite universes
The vastness of its tremendous tributaries
Like our aqua blue and emerald green capillaries
Which lead to the oracle ocean of our humble hearts
The song written with your middle name
Your endless love of music and your favourite guitar
The optical Oscar we imagined bigger than The Empire State Building
The Phoenix that rose from the ashes of torment
To freedom of the ultimate spirit
That travels beyond beauteous boundaries
It has been a secret I have held for so long
Multiple finite lifetimes
Past lives of sacred souls
That lead to endless spirits unbound by life
When I close my delicate eyes
And I see cardinal red
I realise it is the centre of the solacious sun
That is where I find you in my visceral visions
You show me your paradisical afterlife
The transcendent dimensions over the rainbow
I see the whimsical waterfall
With the gregarious gorillas
And the rare blue butterflies on their shoulders
We’ve danced and played in the water
Run across the many moons of our travels
Light years of cheetah speed
Our twinned spirits
Have travelled through every colour
Mirrored through every being
Every animal, object, including
The killer whales’ eyes
There is nowhere we haven’t been
But everywhere we have yet to go
Shared secrets, acting goals, triumphs and tears of Rain
I feel you when I touch a Leaf
The Statue of Liberty that shines on
The youngest of Summer‘s
The sensitive siblings you have told me all about
Never forgetting John and Heart
The Heart that brought you into this world
In flesh and blood
With that luminous light
Born XXIII.VIII.MCMLXX
You know my fear in writing this
But maybe it was time
Nomadic sense of your distance
Sometimes far, occasionally close
That fire rainbow
That ancient tree
The chariots racing across the indigo sky
Memories that liberate and bind our spirits
Always free, the freedom we choose
To dance, sing, act and look up
To the stars, planets, galaxies, universes
You know where to find me
I find you in the shimmering sparkles of the River I wake up to
