Stars changing colours
Kick me while I’m down
Got my brain on loop
Hollow to the core
Can see it all before
This resoluting light
Diminishes beneath
Its baron flame
Weight gone up

The disillusioned scales
The relevance
Of one soul
Spirit from other lives
Why are we all here?
Creating sugar content
When we need protein
And gold
Masters echo their wisdom

Of candlelit millennia

From days dancing under

Searching for the reason
Beyond insanity to reckoning
Why do I introspect over
Fractured minds
Nasty words spoken from those lips
It is not a need
But a clarity of truth
Bereft your toes on icy seas
