What would Freddie do?

26 Jul

They used to say

Makes me smile

What if you’d never learnt the piano?

What if you’d never learnt the guitar?

Would you still sing?

You were born to sing

You were born to perform

But I write poetry

For now

So I thought I’d write a poem for you

As summer festivals flow

So do my dreams on this balcony

So…

I know I’m the luckiest girl by far

I know I’m lucky to have those special stars watching over me

Guiding me

Keeping me focused

When all I do is day dream

And float off the ground

They remind me of what’s important

Like

What would Freddie do?

All I know is that

He would use his time wisely

To those who are missing someone

26 Jul

He misses her

And she misses him

She misses him

But he doesn’t miss her

But he does

But he misses him

You know the ones

But you don’t

Nameless

5 Jul

It’s a fortitude of conference

A solitude of temperance

A dance of unmistakeable mysticism

A caution of tragedy

A poet’s destitute

The power of tantrism

An energy of forgiveness

Missing the goals

Unravelling the tolls

Majestic in wisdom

Phoenix in blue flight

Indigo’s healing

And rainbow’s feeling

Dolphin’s trance

A mirror’s glance

Keep me singing in solitude

For I sing for the stars

The angels, the guides

No judicial judgement

Without the stage graced

Beauty tranced

Without embrace

No more thinking

No more drinking

The tincture from your potent cup

Years lost

The waterfall’s tears

Cradling that child

Cuddles so mild

I’ve fallen at your feet

Heart skips a beat

When’s it’s pivotal and private

I do not need to know

Temple’s fate

Eclipses the lips

Time passes a distant glow

Boy, do I flow
