We’re all on a spectrum

There are so many types

Is it their fault?

When they know what they’re doing

But they hurt

Feel empty inside

Who’s the victim?

Sometimes I feel like people are creating art on my behalf

The universe

God’s mysterious ways

Narcissists

I’ve come across a few

They abuse

Often in secret

What goes on behind closed doors

Is where the real damage occurs

They can be popular, clever

Unless you really know them

They charm you

They can love bomb you

Ever heard of DARVO?

Deny

Attack

Reverse Victim and

Offender

They’re not great at introspectrum

Instead blame you

There may be a genetic component

But often the way they were parented plays a part

Narcissists draw to narcissists

Alan Watts was a narcissist

But the empath/narcissist magnetism is lethal

The empath feels for the narcissist

The narcissist is drawn to the characteristics the empath has which they lack

They can manipulate the empath

The narcissist may not feel anything for you

Whereas the empath could have shed lifetimes’ of tears

They can be avoidant

The malignant narcissist is the most dangerous

Like Trump, Netanyahu and Putin

They may not get sectioned

They often don’t go to jail

May have a certain kind of power or fame

They often roam free

Creating havoc in the workplace, at home or with children

They probably see their own children different to others

Because they have their DNA

And their grandiosity will hold their children above all others

But they may treat their children badly

Neglect them

Treat the mother of their children viciously

Abusively

This is where their true colours are shown

And where the most heart-braking and shocking behaviour occurs

Where very few witness it

They may preach

But behind closed doors

Their actions are criminal

Learn about them

Stay aware

And if you are one

Do the work!

To heal yourself

And those around you

If you witness narcissistic abuse

You’ll never forget it

And carry an armour and strength within you, you never realised you had
