Twentieth Century Thought

8 Jun

I think of Einstein, Newton, Di Vinci, Darwin, Monet, The Mercury Man and when I recognise them again in their now future lives, I question why we always do come back for one another? You do not have to believe my school of thought but I merely ask you to be open to the poetic fluidity of soul to future soul in spirits’ musical motion. Why do ‘we meet again’? As Shakespeare once wrote inspired by Wilde’s notion. It is as clear as day when I recognise the souls of their past like Sting having been stung to death in his past life: to do what he does with those hands of past it would take a Saint in the name of Francis to recognise the tragedy which he so eloquently projected to absolute prophetic perfection. To play with those hands, that clap in unique motion, is inconceivable to man in itself. But to master a Labyrinth of confusion, gaining a musical Doctorate only a matrix could understand the delicacy of that instrumental code. From a man to a wo-man.

In Style of Trudie from council to film, to fame, to la di da romance. A friendship lost in this grail within this dance. We do meet again, a rhyme, in future’s past. But what I fear, year upon year, in every life is that it always arrives too late. When wrinkles have found those eyes and energy has surpassed their dehydrated capillarous veins. Rivers of blood I have seen, oil we have drunk to hollowed death streams.

Israelites to Palestinian Prophecies reading from the same book written from right to left only misinterpreted by man’s gluttonous wrath.

But where do I go from here? From Bethlehem in Aramaic to Arabic through the Yemen, Spanish ancient literature to France she lay, to rise again and travel to Island they found, a Grail, a pale of water, who knows what’s best? A Sacred Love, I leave in blue blooded metal vest. The Rainbow Golden Prophecy is best. A blessed nest.

The Restoration of The Holy Grail

30 May

A poet of such rarity
From Sanskrit to The Propechy
Of Tree not thought of cut
Like Blue Blood wrath of drought
Rivers of Blood in Red she lay
Full of Hollow extracted Greed
Holy Water Lay Death in Oil
The oil I have drunk from beneath the soil
To entrench & cleanse the water of The Holy Grail
The Restoration Lies within the Spring of Field
Will writes like Wilde yet fortune foretold
From Shakespeare to a modern worded University Hospital
From Epping Forest to The Priory of Zion where she lay
Queen Mary, I do still pray.

The Lord & Lady’s Prayer

28 Feb

Holy Mary Mother of God
Who Art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Will Be Done
On Earth, as it is in Heaven
Please give us this day
Our daily Holy Water
And forgive us, our trespasses,
As we forgive those, who trespass against us
Please lead us not into Temptation
But deliver us from Evil
For Thine is the Kingdom
The Power and the Glory
For Ever and Ever
AWOMEN, AMEN

Duty Reigns

26 Apr

Duty Reigns with majestic colour,
You have gracefully ruled unlike another.

Duty Reigns and you have stuck to your word,
There have been many leaders but your voice has been heard.

Duty Reigns with galloping horses,
You have welcomed, entertained and awarded with courses.

Duty Reigns with discipline so mighty,
Your workload impresses me still at Ninety.

Duty Reigns with grace and charm,
Through the darkest of moments, you still remain calm.

Duty Reigns through the decades of time,
I look at your precision and listen to your (Big Ben) chime.

Duty Reigns through the floods and our plight,
Your gentle guidance has always led us to the light.

Duty Reigns and there is a reason for this,
M’am, I wished to write for you; an opportunity I could not miss.

Duty Reigns for your people, you care,
Your beautiful style, resilience, you’ve been fair

Duty Reigns as you continue to do,
We look up to you, listen, watch, you still remain true.

With our deepest gratitude on your birthday.

I’ll miss you

Like the stars when they don’t shine

I’ll miss you

The lady who looked so fine

I’ll miss you

Like the white that’s faded grey

I’ll miss you

Like a daffodil gone in May

I’ll miss you

Like the bird that’s lost a wing

I’ll miss you

Like a jaguar without spring

I see you

In a rainbow that’s just found light

I see you

When London comes alight

I see you

When an athlete’s spark is shown

I see you

When a child’s mind is fully grown

I see you

In the achiever, the doer, the person on the go

I see you

In a dancer, graceful with elegance and flow

I hear you

Blowing in the trees, moving with the air

I hear you

In a person who shows such flair

I hear you

When I’m tired of not fulfilling my dream

I hear you

Guiding, directing me towards the beam

I hear you

In the echo of the wind and wall

I hear you

Clearly, in my thoughts, most of all

I feel you

When your presence is there tingling in my hands and toes

I feel you

When the air turns cool and soft just above my nose

I feel you

Deep inside my soul, body and mind

I feel you

Just there, unconditionally, not hard to find

I feel you

Giving, loving to each and every one of us and sharing

I feel you

Listening and speaking, you are the special person who never stops caring

I know you

Will be listening to all of this

I know you

Will find heaven such bliss

I know you

Will miss your family and friends

I know you

Will find love and freedom that never ends

A good friend of mine, Mark Westcott, enlightened me to Malala Yousafzai’s speech at the United Nations in 2013:

http://youtu.be/3rNhZu3ttIU

Her articulation, defiance and compassion towards the people who tried to take her life; silence her voice and disable her strength have merely created the opposite. The irony is Malala has become a more powerful individual with humility, forgiveness and wisdom, who without having been a target would have potentially not reached the audience that she has today. A person who was born in our lifetime for a reason. A voice of peace, an ambassador for education and a leader of human rights. ‘One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world. Education is the only solution.’ I rest my case.

We don’t seem to be recognising Saints in today’s day and age and I don’t understand why. Have we forgotten their purpose? Is the term either overused in colloquial language or under utilised in the correct process. Is there a fear of labelling a great modern day public figure with historic terminology? We need Saints, we always have. We need to recognise profits in the same way that Dalai Lamas are recognised in Tibet. Fame seems to have overtaken the necessity and importance of specific public figures. Why is fame and power overriding our genuine need for humility and responsibility. Is it to do with money, our social acceptance of Greed: A Deadly Sin. The answers are there, they’re all there. Some have been forgotten and some we need to remind ourselves of but today, information is so accessible. Sometimes we just need to be reminded of our path, our journey to bring us closer to the truth.

Below is an interview with Malala and her father, Ziauddin with Christiane Amanpour recorded on October 22nd 2013. The introduction is made by Samantha Power who is U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations:

I wrote most of this and did my research on 8th February 2015. My favourite book is The Secret Language of Birthdays. In my opinion, the most interesting day is the 8th February in that book. Below is an explanation of that day, it’s a vital day and is totally relevant of what’s to come:

I was talking to a girl at work today trying to explain why there are certain people who are meant to hear voices. In Greek mythology, how on earth would the Gods and Goddesses have been created without a person channelling their words. Hearing voices is not a mental illness, it can be, I’m not denying that but in truth the best writers will tell you that they’re not sure where their ideas come from, they are merely channelling their work through divine intervention. I am a spiritual individual, I can write that without a doubt. I use words when writing poetry that I don’t even know the meaning of and when I look them up, they fit immaculately.

Here is a clip from Stephen Fry’s answer to why he doesn’t believe in God:

http://youtu.be/-suvkwNYSQo

The ambivalence of God. The great debate. For every good, must there be an evil? For every right, a wrong? For every death, a life? The balance has gone. The infiltration of negativity within our media and social environmental structure is a cause for concern. I am a positive human being. I see the light but there needs to be a shift, a change. There is simply too much of everything: newspapers/magazines/food/clothes/post/paper/plastic. You name it, there is either too much or vastly too little in other countries. Materialism is rife and according to Kaballah, it is that which will ultimately be our undoing.

I went to see a friend this evening who is equally my muse and I explained that I was planning to go and see ‘Inherent Vice’ to which she said, ‘Inherent Voice?’ Without realising, she had just created a thesis in my mind. That is why she is my muse. She doesn’t realise how incredible she truly is but hopefully one day, she will.

Ok, so this is my first piece of writing that I’m going to share with the world for free because ‘It Matters’ and it’s vital to me. Excuse the rant but frankly, it’s about ‘Time’.

I bought a pair of Nike trainers the other day:

http://www.sportsdirect.com/nike-air-max-skyline-mens-trainers-121346?colcode=12134646

Their original retail price was £91.99 and it suddenly dawned on me to do some research. I came across this:

http://youtu.be/M5uYCWVfuPQ

It broke my heart. Not only do I think it unjust but equally brutally unfair. Trade like this has to stop. Ok, I’ve already lost the majority of readers because this is negative press. We’re all aware of the atrocities going on in the world and merely feel unable to do anything about them. But I’m keeping it simple, visual and understandable. I’m an idealist, I realise that but seriously, this can’t go on.

I’m totally aware of sponsorship deals, promotion of brands, business but surely in this day and age, with our collective intelligence and human decency, is it not possible to make our trade a little fairer? I remember watching Coldplay on stage:

http://youtu.be/-2SxnqtS1ZU

My aim is not to bring you down, to turn your cheek the other way but actually to face the reality and know that unanimously we can make a difference. I had a vision about global debt and wondered if one global currency could work? Like I said, I am an idealist and I did think forward as well as back. Before currency/money, there was trade. I’ll trade you some cloth for some vegetables. I’ll trade you a goat for a pale of water. I am talking about ancient B.C. times but it worked, it can work. One Global Currency could work. It could wipe out 3rd world debt. The dependency of rich nations allowing countries to become more dependent on their aid, not less, is human and governmental entrapment.

Money is an interesting concept. People seem to have this expression, ‘money doesn’t grow on trees’ but if you think about it, without trees, money wouldn’t have ever existed, come to think of it, neither would the human race. I am side tracking, going off on tangents but my point is, please watch these video clips, please think about your children and others’ and what you would truly wish their future to hold as well as your own.

The CEO of Nike when the documentary was made, Phil Knight, didn’t wish to comment or even speak to Jim Keady or the team at http://www.educatingforjustice.org whereas the staff which he employed, at the time, to make his trainers were making ‘$1.25 a day… working 15 hours a day 6-7 days a week.’ Meanwhile, back in the States, Tiger Woods had a sponsorship deal of ‘$100m just for wearing the clothes’ the equivalent of ‘more than 700,000 people’ working in the sweatshop in Indonesia for Nike at that time. I would advise listening particularly to the link above between 17:20 to 18:55. The key information and statistics are articulated well there.

I was recently advised to watch the following two documentaries created and crafted by the BBC. To understand how the bridge, of the super rich and us, was spawned. I don’t have a problem with wealth, even the super wealthy, what I do have a problem with is morals and ethics. The ‘Super Rich’ have a responsibility and as Voltaire once wrote, ‘With great power comes great responsibility’. (I’m pretty sure I also heard that line in a Spiderman movie).

On Monday 2nd February 2015, I came across The Times newspaper and on the front of that paper there was the title: ‘Britain isn’t ready for Charles and his activism fears Queen.’ The article starts with the following paragraph: ‘The Queen fears that Britain may not be ready for the radical new style of monarchy envisaged by her eldest son, according to a new biography of the Prince of Wales.’ Well I am ready for change, I hope you are too.

IT MATTERS

25 Oct

The chaos that surrounds me

The sense of disorganisation unfolds

The light that infiltrates me

The fear of what not done

My father’s health berates me

The youth that trickles downstream

The quiet voice from within me

The volcanic dream I chose to suppress

The ladder’s height which torments me

The stairwell to heaven sublime

The success which tries to find me

The ballerina’s dance lost to a rhyme

The exercise unravels me

The genetic DNA unfolds

The miracles stand before me

The forgiven temperament of my mind

The battle I see around me

The poverty stricken with depression in their eye

The ease of being given

The laze I battle like a sty

The astral traveller grounded for this fight

The focus of not a stranger

The written word which has great might

The injury of frustration

The complex addiction I embrace

The palm like leaf fortune

IT MATTERS not only what’s written on your face

Time

7 Feb

Time is of the essence

Time can speed up

Time can slow down

Time is a healer

Time allows us to feel

Time is a gift

Especially the present

But time waits for no one

It waits for everyone in vain

Time is like the rain

Everyone tastes a different drop

Time is essential

Time should never trap you though

Time can prevent you

Time’s gift is the wave and the moon

Time’s enemy is the sun

Time’s eternal love affair is with this universe and our stars

Remember where time originated

As time once stood still
